Flower Parade

link
Besides being constantly rated as one of the greatest countries to live in in the world , file this as motive #4 ,123 to stop by the Netherlands : Bloemencorso , the yearly parade of flowers in Zundert . That’s correct , each float here is created from all-natural plants , especially dahlias . From twisting architectural structures the dimensions of houses to weird animatronic birds and puppets , as well as animals created from swooping gestures reminiscent of graffiti , Bloemencorso has a bit of everything . Even with the relatively small nature of Zundert ( one small town north east of Belgium with a community of about 20 ,000 ) the variety of and creativity of these sculptures appears to know no bounds . I’ve embedded an hour-long video of the whole parade from 2012 above , it’s really worth skipping around a bit to see the whole thing.
