1. Kill Pimples With Toothpaste

8. Lighten Hair With Chamomile Tea And Lemon Mix

Give yourself a make-over at home by changing the color of your hair permanently (read till your hair grows out). Go blonde with a home-made mix of chamomile tea and lemon. After you wash your hair with shampoo, apply a solution of chamomile tea and lemon juice instead of your regular conditioner. Then dry your hair either by sunning yourself or with a hair dryer. The heat brightens the tones of your hair, resulting in natural shades of blonde. This color remains till your hair grows out, so be sure you want to go blonde before rinsing your hair with the mix.

9. Vicks VapoRub For Fungus-Infected Nails

If fungi have taken up residence under the nails of your fingers and toes, here is a slow but effective method to be rid of them. Lather ample Vicks VapoRub on your fingers and toes, and wear gloves and socks, before retiring for the day. Do this every day for about two months, and observe tangible change.

10. Pepto-Bismol As Face Mask

Pepto-Bismol is best known for its ability to cure the gastro-intestinal effects of a heavy meal. A less popularly known benefit of Pepto-Bismol is its efficacy as a rejuvenating face mask. Take two tea spoons of the medicine in a bowl and carefully apply it on your face and allow it to dry to form a mask. Bismuth subsalicylate in the product makes the skin smoother, apart from teasing out black and white heads in facial skin. Caution must be exercised as this act could work negatively for those with sensitive skin.
