Village in the Netherlands With no Roads

Giethoorn in Holland is a wonderful and peaceful little village special for the reason that you won't find a single road in the whole village. Instead, it is connected by canals and walkways and many biking tracks, and that is the reason behind a nickname the Venice of the Netherlands. The residents use punters to get around and vehicles must stay beyond the village. Tourists are always welcomed and prompted to rent an electric powered boats to be able to explore this unique, little piece of heaven on earth.
