Unnecessarily Bulletproof

(Thanks to Thorpe Park Breaks for sharing this rather excessive collection with Popgive.)
Sometimes you just need something to be bullet proof.
Oh wait… You’re not a celebrity? Or a member of the royal family? Or a Mobster? Well no worries – you can still get yourself protected. So many companies are now selling unnecessarily bulletproof items, that it seemed silly not to make a blog post about it! These items might seem pretty randomly paired up with “bulletproof” but you never know… and it’s better to be safe than sorry.

1. iPhone Case:

If you happen to find yourself in the occasional showdown at dawn, with your iPhone handy – it might be worth purchasing one of these cases for protection. It was a Japanese company called Marudai who invented the product, but don’t rush to the shop to buy one just yet – you may need to save up for a while first. The case costs a whopping $650 (more than the actual phone!) but it will resist a 50 calibre round, so at least you can rest assured you phone is safe! Which we’d hope – for such a steep price.

2. Bulletproof tent:

Ever find yourself camping out, but worried about gunshots? Well worry no more! This bullet proof tent is the answer to all your worries! It makes any campsite the safest place around – and is even windproof too (just incase you weren’t sold on the bullet protection). It’s not the prettiest or trendiest tent design – but hey, it could save lives.

3. Bulletproof fountain Pen:

Ok, this one I really can’t get my head around. Why someone would ever need a bulletproof pen is completely beyond me – yet, they exist! And, they sell too! Clearly they’ve been made for people with extra high security measures – and money to burn too!

4. Bulletproof Denim Jacket:

If you were looking to stay subtle in your bullet proofing – then surely a denim jacket is the ultimate fashion accessory to buy bullet-proofed? You’ll not only fit right in – but you’ll look like the worst dressed person in the room. That’s right folks – you either dress for protection or you dress for fashion. You can’t have both – we’re not quite that advanced yet. This particular jacket claims to protect you not only from guns but also from bombs and fragmentation – so fashion might not be a priority anyway!

5. Baby Bulletproofing:

Yes you read that right. If you’re a bit conscious your baby might be getting into gun fights at nursery or playschool, you can now purchase baby-armour especially made to fit a baby’s small frame. The baby vest might weight more than the actual baby – but at least they’ll be warm. And safe (or not).

6. Polo Shirts:

Another item here for those of you who want to stay casual whilst being bullet proof. This “trendy” polo shirt will keep you safe and keep you looking good. I mean – just look at the guy in the photo – he looks extremely content with his bullet-proofing needs. So if you ever came under gun-fire whilst playing golf… this is the product for you. Worrying will definitely be a thing of the past. Oh, and in case you were wondering, it comes in four different colours, that’s nearly an entire working week! Your wardrobe is sorted!

7. The Pocket Square:

This invention by the guys at Sruli Recht, is actually pretty ingenious. You simply insert the pocket square into your pocket at any formal event and your most precious area (you heart…) is protected. We’re expecting to see this one in the next Bond film.
