Packing a Gift in Russia

The following has to be by far the most unique package for New Year's gift. Certainly, the future owner of that woolen cap is going to be quite surprised as soon as he got this present, considering that getting the cap out from "this" is definitely going to be quite an adventure.
UPDATE : According to comments this brilliant idea is not performed in Russia, but somewhere in Sweden, it would be great if someone could provide more information via comment or contact form.

    it's from sweden! cheack the newspapper! and it's says "God Jul" on the white paper in handwriting

    hah its from sweden. proof: the newspapers is in swedish and the not that says "god jul" meaning "merry christmas"
