The Titan Missile Museum is a original intercontinental ballistic missile site positioned around 15 miles from Tucson. It's a museum operated by the non-profit Arizona Aerospace Foundation which include an inert Titan II intercontinental ballistic missile within the silo, along with the original launch facilities.
At the visitor centre there's a compact gift shop along with a small museum putting the Titan II within the context of the Cold War. The usual tour begins having a brief video about the background of the Titan II and the launch complex, a visit to the control room throughout the controlled access entry including a set of 3-ton blast entrances.
The visit to the control room includes a simulated launch - a demo with the actions that would have been taken to launch the missile.
