Thieves are becoming quicker, savvier, and more advanced. Vehicles, which are equipped with computer-based security system, keyless entry and ignition systems, can now be stolen in just a few seconds. Some thieves force the window of the car to have a good opening. The car door is later unlocked and locked. They then pop the hood, disconnect the battery and look for the ignition cable. If still, the method does not work, thieves have ample time to manipulate car alarm. I found a few videos that show us how they do it !
These videos would be impressive if they weren't all fakes. Still, a good link to send around as a joke.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see someone verify any of these techniques. It just looks too easy. I mean... a Taser? Really?
ReplyDeletehaha nice fakes. The first one might be real but the rest are bunk. my 4 year old says "it's so dumb I think he drove away with it and someone took him to jail. And it's really dumb."
ReplyDeleteUhhh those are clearly fakes.
ReplyDeleteMost of the look quite realistic, but the third and last one are just stupid.
These all look fake - they have the remote off camera, and unlock the car (or open the hatch) with it while the person being filmed does something that looks like it might unlock it.
ReplyDeleteannoying smug laughter
ReplyDeleteGuys, u are wrong.
ReplyDelete1st pump, 2nd cone, 4th neodymium magnet ARE CONFIRMED AND REAL.
5th teaser. I havent chance to tried yet, but plausible cause the car there is Skoda Felicia year 1998 or so but old Volkswagen's powerlocks technology from begining of 90-ties.
3rd is clearly FAKE. Not possible to unlock with TV remote controler.
Fake fake fake. Busted on Mythbusters when they used an airtight seal and airgun, pressure far higher than a plunger, and couldn't get the lock to open. Try it yourself as an experiment.

This is all fake. all u nead is some stupid kids filming and some one with the remote key to make the oax real.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if it's fake, but I know for sure that the thing with the plumber works on a few cars. Here the auto-help-service also uses air pumps if you leave your keys in your car and have locked your doors, so ...
ReplyDeletei have used or seen used every thing but the first one. that is new to me. the hardest to believe is the remote. but you have to have a universal. and you use it just like you would to program you tv. set it up and just keep pushing the power button till it finds the rite code. Its not as fast as they show and i have set alarms on other cars off before using it. The plunger will only work on some cars and the magnet is expensive and hard as hell to pull off. I guess thats why they used the towel.
ReplyDeleteactually this not fake the thirs one there are using what is call rfid. the remote is as an antenna and the white chip on top read the encrypted code of the car system..
ReplyDeletethe use the towel to not scratch the car those guy are professional car theft
ReplyDeleteMost are NOT fakes! These techniques work on CERTAIN makes & models, not all. That is made very obvious.
ReplyDelete"Busted on Mythbusters", is this how you define a fact?! Time to go outside & experience the real world.
W
not to sure about what i just seen but i'll tell you how to steal any saab 900 under a k reg.....
ReplyDeleteuse the arm off the window wipper of an old mini, wear down the bump on the end and it'll open the door and start it like u had a key! enjoy! but dont get nicked!
you might think these are fake... well, the third one might be, but if you are smart enough - you can do it. not all cars can be stolen. if these tricks don't work for you, or you just think they're dumb - doesn't mean they are fake!
