When I went back I could see that it is one person. At first, I tried to figure out what the sequence meant, without reading the instructions, and I couldn't figure.
It looks like she was run over by a tanker truck full of ugly as a baby, which exploded, permanently implanting ugly into her body, and when her parents came home to the wreckage, they couldn't bear to look at her and beater her with the ugly stick until she fell unconscious.
