4 Extremely Creatively Constructed Parks

Creatively constructed parks are great sources of enjoyment for all visitors to them, which cannot only bring pleasure to those who come to them, but can also quite often be a source of inspiration and instruction. The civil engineers who help to construct such parks can always look back to a sense of achievement that such parks give.

Legoland

One of the best constructed of such parks is LEGOLAND, a park in England that attracts millions of visitors during the time that it is open. Children consider it a dream fantasy, as they go through its facilities wide-eyed and awestruck. There are a number of interactive rides and high roller coasters that thrill all who ride them. The building workshops allow all those who enter to experiment with all the various Lego blocks made in different sizes. There are added attractions like pirate training camps, driving schools, music gigs, and live concerts that can enthrall most teens. The 4D cinema ensures that you are never bored while you are at LEGOLAND. A city has been  built with 40 million pieces of Lego that bring to mind famous buildings from all over the world.

SeaWorld

When you talk of creative parks, you have to look at water parks, for the sheer delight they bring to vacations. The imaginative rides and the creative design that you can see in Orlando's SeaWorld Aquatica give you the feeling that you are visiting the South Sea Islands. This feeling is further bolstered by the animals and birds, the exotic plants, rivers, lagoons, and above all, the sandy beaches. Can you imagine that civil engineers constructing this park had to bring in three million pounds of sand to make the beaches that cover almost two acres? Planting over 2000 kinds of trees, and bringing in macaws, dolphins, anteaters, iguanas, and the myriad other exotic animals and birds, must have been a huge exercise in logistics.

Disneyland/Disney World

The concept of creative parks really took off, because of the success of Disneyland, which was opened in 1971. Unfortunately, Walt Disney himself did not live to attend the opening, which followed three or more years of hectic construction activities by civil engineers and other associates. The Magic Kingdom was the first main theme park, which required 5500 members in its cast when it first started out. Besides this, there are also the Hollywood Studios of Disney, the Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. Disney World has accepted the popularity of water parks by constructing Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach as part of this huge creative park.

Cedar Point

There are many people to whom a visit to a park must mean rides, and here is where the park at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, can more than satisfy one's such desires. There are seventeen roller coaster rides in this park, and some of them are considered among the best roller coaster rides in the world. You can experience thrills on the tallest wooden roller coaster in the world. There are roller coaster rides like the Top Thrill that will drop you from heights of over 400 feet. The shortness of the ride is made up for by the extreme acceleration that you are subject to. A longer ride on the Magnum will take you along the shores of Lake Erie, which will give you a glimpse of Canada, when you are at the top. There are rides that drop you practically vertical, that also take you through tunnels and horseshoe rolls.

These are just a handful of the amazing and creative parks around the world that will continue to  amaze children and adults alike in the future.
