Get The Look: Marty McFly

Ok, so retro is cool. We all know it, we can’t fight it… so let’s just deal with it and move forward. A lot of things we do now have a retro feel, from the countless sequels, re-releases, re-boots and re-mastering of classic movies to the clothes we wear every day.
Remember Back to the Future? Of course you do, they re-released it 2 years ago. In that movie, we saw Marty McFly wear a range of outfits from multiple era’s, all of which could be deemed fashionable today. Here is your way of getting the classic Marty McFly look.
Let’s start at the bottom, Marty wore one cool pair of Nike trainers after another, from the Bruin’s in the first movie to the auto fastening pair in the second.
If you can’t quite afford some like these (available on ebay)

then why not go for the more humble Bruin edition that Marty wore in the first movie. (365ecmarket.com)

Next up are the skinny fit jeans that Marty wore, now you can get those from pretty much any high street shop, Levi’s would probably do the trick, but you probably own some of these already, right? The shirt is a white checked number, with a dark red round neck T shirt underneath, nothing tough to find there, but a cool faded denim jacket (gap.com) and a red puffy gilet (amazon.com) will really give you the Marty McFly look, no matter what pieces you wear underneath.

When it comes to completing this look, some of the things that make the biggest difference are the little touches, Marty’s aviator sunglasses (amazon.com) and that cool retro Casio watch. (http://www.thewatchhut.co.uk/)

Now with everything you need to piece together, all of which have that cool retro feel to them, you’re ready to hop in your Delorean, gun it up to 88mph and set fire to the road… roads? Where you’re going, you don’t need roads!
