Solar Plastic Bottle Bulb

A solar bottle light bulb is invention launched in the Philippines by Illac Diaz of MyShelter Foundation, as being an affordable replacement for some other light sources. It had been an amazing invention by an engineer in Brazil. It is known as "bottle bulb" since the device is constructed of an empty 1. 5 liter plastic bottle loaded with pure water as well as three spoons of bleach, then the bottle is inserted into the roofing of buildings, having part of the bottle outside, and part of it inside. Once the sunlight hits the exterior area of the bottle, a large amount of light gets to the inside area of the bottle. The water in the bottle makes the light omnidirectional, imitating an electrical light bulb. The bleach will keep the water clear for many years. Without the presence of bleach, the water would certainly swiftly turn green with algae. On the other hand, it can be only effective during daytime yet its luminance has been analyzed and proven to generate equally as much light as a 50W incandescent bulb.
