ISS completes almost 17 laps around the Earth every day. In the amount of time it takes you to read this sentence, it travels 25 miles. It is the International Space Station, the one million pound tinker toy that orbits the Earth. You think it is possible to photograph an object that is 350 kilometers away and traveling at 27,000 kilometers per hour ?
I didn’t think so myself, but it is possible to photograph the International Space Station if you are patient and willing enough.
Dani Caxete is based in Madrid, comes to this blog for its magnificent catch of the ISS passing in front of the solar disk. It is very interesting to read his story to know how to do this properly.
