The rooms look quite cozy, wood panelled, with room for two narrow beds. No comment on the smell in the room; foxy, fruity, but all with plenty of body. Maybe you chose by flavour: red or white. Each one comes complete with a t.v., radio shower and toilet for this rare wine treat. There is a porch/ sitting room attached so things aren't quite as cramped as they appear.

General rates for a cask room are from 74-119 Euros a night with discounts of up to 75% off depending on season. If you go in the wintertime, a wine cask room can be as low as 18 Euros a night, cheaper than most hostels.
